Scales separates deterministic measurement, data confidence, and model interpretation so uncertainty stays visible.
01 · RISK-V1
A 100-point measurement
35 Annualized volatility
30 One-year maximum drawdown
15 Downside deviation
10 Underlying dollar-volume proxy
10 Oracle freshness and availability
Higher means more measured risk. Fewer than 30 observations, unsafe sequencer state, invalid price, or a missing required input produces no score.
02 · ONCHAIN VALUE
Multiplier-aware, once
Portfolio value uses raw token balance × a multiplier-adjusted feed price. balanceOfUI is shown separately. The UI multiplier is never applied twice.
value = raw units × adjusted feed price
03 · COUNCIL
Specialists, then a judge
Market, onchain, and skeptic roles run in parallel over the same frozen evidence. The judge lists agreements, disagreements, risks, mitigants, and invalidation triggers.
Models may cite only supplied evidence IDs. Two valid specialists are required; missing members are labeled partial.
04 · DATA
Closed-beta sources
Underlying history currently comes from yfinance behind a replaceable provider interface. Unrestricted release requires licensed market data. Canonical token addresses originate in Robinhood's live registry and must validate onchain.
05 · PRIVACY
Wallet data is omitted
Wallet address entry and connected-wallet exposure are request-scoped. Addresses, balances, and portfolio outputs are never stored. Only asset-level council research enters the public archive.
06 · LIMITATIONS
Research, not advice
Scales does not consider personal objectives, circumstances, eligibility, jurisdiction, taxes, or tolerance for loss. Scenarios are mechanical momentum paths—not predictions or guaranteed performance.
